Rust
Remove mild to even deep pitted rust on copper, brass, aluminum, plastic, rubber, vinyl, and all variations of mild steel and iron.
Review safety warnings on the product label prior to use and follow all safety precautions.
Tip: Remove all excess dirt and oil from the item you wish to remove rust from.
Place rusted item into a container, pour Max Strip Rust Remover to completely submerge the rusted item.
Soak times depend on depth and age of rust. Let the rusted item soak in the solution for
30 minutes – 1 hour for light rust or leave it overnight on heavy rusted items for best results.
Rinse the item with water. If deep rust remains in pits, re-immerse the object until all the rust is gone. Un-rusted metal will not get affected by re-immersing. This is a very important step that cannot be missed in order to see the best results.
Tip: To prevent flash rusting, dip the item back into the solution. Then allow the item to air dry. This can help prevent rust for up to two weeks.
* Safe to use in spray cabinets, ultrasonic cleaners, pressure washers, pumps, and vats.

Dispose: When ready to dispose of spent Max Strip Rust Remover, only the iron content of the solution will dictate disposal methods. In most cases, it can be safely put down the drain. Dispose of in accordance with the regulations in your area.
